Payment:

• I only accept payment through PayPal in USD.

• 50% payment is required upfront after the briefing, then another 50% is required after the first draft have been sent, unless stated otherwise. The 50% upfront payment is nonrefundable after the first draft have been approved.

• Only two big revisions are allowed unless stated otherwise. Additional big revisions will come with a fee.

 

Copyright and Usability: 

I (Yamakusa, the producer/seller):

• I retain ALL copyrights and commercial rights over the work I have completed for your commissioned piece, unless the otherwise is stated explicitly. Please contact me for commercial use commissions.

• I will retain all these permissions unless you breach any of the terms.

• I reserve my right to showcase your commissioned piece as part of my portfolio.

• I will NOT file DMCA claims on your content that use my commissioned piece unless you breach any of the terms.

 

You (the client/commissioner):

• you may use your commissioned piece for personal purposes including uploading it on video sharing sites, using it in a monetized YouTube video, etc. Please give me credits when you use your commissioned piece.

• you may NOT upload your commissioned piece on music streaming services including but not limited to Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, unless stated otherwise.

• you may NOT resell your commissioned piece nor mint your it for a NFT (Non-fungible token).

• you may NOT claim my work for your commissioned piece as your own creation.

Refund:​

• If I am unable to finish your commissioned piece due to unforeseen circumstances on my part, you will be entitled to a partial refund, based on how much work I have completed for your commissioned piece.

• For refunds, I will transfer the money back to you personally, please do NOT file a PayPal chargeback.

Notes:

(1) I do not own copyrights over your vocal recordings or any samples you provided.

(2) The current terms of service were last updated on January 21st 2025.

(3) If you file a PayPal chargeback all of the rights aforementioned will be terminated and I will have full rights to take any further profit from your commissioned piece. I will contact PayPal regarding our agreed terms with evidence of our exchanges, and I will not take any future commission requests from you.
